Training Day 14 - Beyond Neuroinflammation I

Beyond Neuroinflammation I will focus on neuroinflammation at the extremes of the age spectrum. This is the first day of two days devoted to neuroinflammation.

The day begins with Dr Damien Downing who will present the ecological approach to neuroinflammation, including phospholipid therapy.

Dr Dietrich Klinghardt will look at autistic spectrum disorders and possible treatment strategies that have been developed over 30 years of experience working with children and adults with ASD.

Lucille Leader will speak about Parkinson's Disease: she will focus on diagnosis, metabolism, pathophysiology, pharmaceuticals, drug and nutrient interactions. She will examine the timing of drugs with diet, nutritional and medical testing and nutritional therapy as part of integrated patient support.

Louise Carder sets out the Bredesen Protocol, in which she is certified.  This aims to reduce exposure to triggers for cognitive decline,  creating resilience, strengthening immune systems and supporting mitochondrial function.

Dr James Laporta will explore using Photobiomodulation (PBM therapy) in neuroinflammation.

The final session of the day is the ever-popular Masterclass of case histories related to neuroinflammation led by Dr Shideh Pouria along with other members of the panel.

MasterClass Case History Submission

As always we welcome relevant neuroinflammation case history contributions from our trainees or those who have completed their training and wish to share a case. It could be a new case or a client that you have been working with for some time. The format is a 10-15 minute presentation, followed by a panel discussion.
